Forklift Truck Operator Training:

All on site forklift truck training is carried out by a fully qualified Road Transport Industry Training Board Registered Instructor which complies with the recommendations of the HSE Approved code of Practice and Supplementary Guidance (L117) (COP26).

A MAXIMUM OF 3 CANDIDATES TRAINED PER DAY.

Course Details:

All Forklift Truck operator training courses are carried out on the customers site, so as to enable the trainee operator to be familiar with his / her companies own equipment and surrounding working environment, thereby enhancing the overall safety factor for the candidate in general, and the company as a whole.

The end of course exams consist of three modules: (1) pre-shift inspection exam, (2) Theory exam paper, (3) practical driving skills test.

5-DAY NOVICE COURSE: Maximum of 3 trainees.
The basic 5 day novice course is designed for candidates with little, if any experience of operating a forklift truck.

EXISTING OPERATOR COURSE: Maximum of 3 trainees.
Normally up to three days duration (3 candidates maximum) this course is designed for the semi-experienced operator, who is able to operate a forklift truck, but has not had the benefit of formal training by a registered lift truck instructor / examiner and is not certificated.

CONVERSION / RELICENCE TRAINING: Maximum of 3 trainees.
Normally one days training and testing, i.e. to renew expired Forklift truck operators licence (recommended renewal every 3 years, HSE recommendations) or to convert from a counterbalance forklift truck to a reach truck or narrow aisle high racker normally 1 days training subject to candidates experience.
